Poor stability and performance

Dear Sir,

I started riding Honda Dazzler from 11/09/10 till now i drive 500kms and im majorly facing 1. Gear slipping, 2.gear shifting hard and 3.Rear disc brake not effectively working problems. As i am not satisfied with performance, so i left the bike for 1st service before reaching 700kms on 20/09/10. Today 21/09/10 i went to collect the bike. I took a test drive and found slipping is not happening but gear is still so hard (even when new oil is changed) and rear brake is in the same condition. Again I discussed these issues with the concerned peoples but they are not agreeing the problems. They are asking me to run the vehicle for some more time but as an Engineer i am not able to understand what is the logic/technology behind, further running the bike with major abnormalities.

While coming back to home i drive 10-12kms but i do not feel any changes in problems.

I had Apache bike sold it and came to HONDA as i like the Honda engine very much. Even after having good scope in Apache RTR and 180cc i choose Dazzler as my dream bike. Believe me i am very dis satisfied customer by the performance and the response.

After above complaint i got response from HONDA Dealer again he took my bike for correction.

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above attached earlier complaint, dated on 24.09.10 . First of all i would like to thank your Honda dealer HERITAGE HONDA of Karnataka -Mysore, for sincerely attending my bike complaints with all efforts.

Heritage Honda has put a lot of effort and corrected my Gear Slipping problem and accepted that there was a problem in the Rear disc calipers. As they were not having stock of DISC CALIPER they asked 15days time for getting the spare from HONDA and to replace the same. Unfortunately i met with an road accident on 14.10.10 because of poor effect of rear brake in 55-60speed, luckily i survived by some mild injuries. I left my bike at Heritage Honda on 14.10.10 for replacement of damaged part and to make my bike completely safe for riding by replacing the Disc Calipers.

I left my bike at dealer end (@863kms of meter reading) for more than 2weeks time (14.10.10 - 26.10.10) finally they replaced disc calipers. I took a trail and i was not convinced by the braking effect after the replacement of calipers. So Heritage Honda replaced the complete setup of braking unit from the brand new bike. Even after the replacement of new braking setup, still i am not feeling braking sharpness/effectiveness while riding the bike in beyond 55-60speed. So dealer requested me to drive few more new Dazzler bikes to feel the rear disc sharpness/effectiveness. I drive 2more brand new Dazzlers but i felt the same problem in those vehicles.

In two wheeler industry we thinks HONDA Quality as the best. Hence the product benchmarking made will always be keeping it into the mind. I never thought HONDA the ZERO PPM company will have disregard towards the most important safety feature of the vehicle. Customer will never buy a 80K bike for riding in below 50speed. As i needed more safety, stability, consistency and comfort i bought HONDA DAZZLER 150cc bike for 80K.

I kindly request HONDA2wheeler R&D team to look into this critical issue and resolve the same on a top priority.

The dealer showroom is too far from my resident so i cant play by going there and coming back by loosing my precious time frequently. I want your reputed Engineers to come and analyze and then to correct these problems.

Following are the list of the problems i am facing in my bike.

1. Rear brake in-effective / highly unsafe for riding beyond 50speed

2. Gear shifting very hard - Many times gears are taking 2turns for lifting. Already 3attempts made to solve gear hard and these kind of problems but no improvement.

As these issues are very critical, i want you take the necessary measures as early as possible. I want to come out of these issue happily, that is why still i have not raised any complaints in Consumer court.

I have a very good hope about HONDA, reputed HONDA will never leave a single customer in dis satisfaction.
