POOR RESPONSE OF HONDA MOTORS INDIA;

Please read the saga of my tryst with 'Honda Motors Destroyerships"... yes... they dont deserve to be called 'dealerships".

COMPLETELY CONTRARY TO THE HONDA MOTORS STATED PHILOSOPHY OF: "

Sales and Service: Enhancing satisfaction with warmth and sincerity

AND

PLEASE READ HOW I GOT RIPPED OFF.MERELY A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER THE FULL SERVICING OF THE CAR, THE A/C COMPRESSOR HAS GOT BURNT TODAY.

THE RESPONSE THAT I RECIEVED FROM THE CALL CENTER IS THE STANDARD ONE BELOW. NO CALL BACK FROM THE HONDA MOTOR COMPANY AND ONLY DIVERTING ALL MY CORRESPONDENCE TO THE 'DESTROYERSHIPS''!!!

NOTE FOR RECORD

This is to place on record that a vehicle bearing Registration No. DL-2CM-7218 make Honda City bearing Chassis No. MAK3A355D3N206817 and Engine No. B15B9025401 was sent for regular service to M/s Sugoi Motors Pvt. Ltd., 21A Shivaji Marg, New Delhi on 10.03.2010 and 15.03.2010. The total expenditure incurred was Rs.7868/- and Rs.30, 075/- respectively during the said two visits to the workshop :-

1. Clutch Paddle

2. Head Light Foucing High

3. Staring Pati Noise

4. Break Pad & shoes.

5. Brake Pad Minor Lining Disk

6. Dry Clean

7. Engine Oilsy

8. W/S Wash Fluid

9. Oil Filter Cartridge.

10. Washer Drain

11. Paint treatment for rest areas on doors.

a. The car went to the said workshop for rusted body work, cleaning, repair and touch up paint. Car was returned on 29.03.10 which is an inordinately long time for these regular jobs.

b. During delivery it was noticed that a big scratch was there on the bonnet and was acknowledged and the car was returned for rectification. On the next day, on delivery, there was a long scratch on the bumper which was not there earlier. Again the car was returned for rectification after this was acknowledged as the workshop’s fault.

c. However after the car was received from the workshop the following discrepancies were noticed, due to faulty workmen ship and deficient services :-

1. Body rust patch came back within 4 days

2. Crack in paint were found on the 2nd day

3. Non-matching of paint with the original colour of the car.

4. Rear doors jammed.

d. The car was sent for the 3rd time for repair to attend the aforesaid jobs however, to utter dismay it was found that the following new problems had arisen:-

1. Battery knocked out and dead.

2. Driver Door/Co-Passengers doors were not locking properly and the key had started getting jammed in the door. It would not lock.

e. On pointing out the aforesaid to the workshop, the mechanic came to my premises to attend to the said problems. It was found by them that the complaints made to them were genuine and they tried to repair on the spot. During repair they found out that that the locks of the front door were wrongly placed leading to the said problem. The mechanic still did not check all locks thoroughly.

f. Then in the evening it was noticed that rear passenger door was jammed and was not opening from inside.

g. Again, the said problem was communicated to the workshop and their workshop Manager Mr. Ashwani Sharma along with the mechanics came to the hotel on 08.05.2010 to rectify the said problem. After battling for 2-3 hrs they were able to rectify the problem.

h. The car went to the workshop 3 times and the mechanics had to visit 2 times, just because the problems were not attended to, properly in the first instance. Additionally, every trip to the workshop resulted in more defects being created by the workshop that did not exist earlier.

This is poor quality and very poor customer service. I will certainly not purchase another HONDA in the future.
