My Honda Jazz purchased on 26th Feb developed starting trouble and broke down on 16/01, ie just i.9 years of purchase after being run for only 20201 kms and being serviced every 3 months (this being as per the servicing schedule for the car under the extended warranty scheme) which is by far the shortest service interval of any car manufacturer in India.

on contacting linkway Honda Chandivalito pick up my car from Thane as a scheduled service appointment was scheduled on the next day, I was initially given 3 -4 different numbers with each employee passing the buck from one person to other. when asked for a supervisors no i was told that i need to contact the Honda break down service number which was not contactable.

I managed to start the car and got the same for servicing at the Linkway honda chandivali workshop. i was told that the battery is faulty and the same would need to be changed.

surprisingly the same was not even covered for a period of 2 years under either under the manufacturers warranty or the Honda warranty.

On the 24/01 after follow-ups, I finally got a call from Linkway honda stating that my car was ready (there was some body work which apparently took 4-5 days due to which there was a delay, as per the workshop).

As a part of the service which cost me Rs5500 odd Rs 4000 odd Rs 500 as insurance charges for the bodyt work one of the issues with the car as given by me to the workshop was that the rear number plate was vibrating against the hatch door which I was told would be corrected.

when i went to collect my car, the payment was collected from me and a feedback form was also taken from me. I asked for testing of the car prior to filling of the feedback form, but was requested to fill up the same and then take the delivery of the car.

On taking delivery I noticed that the rear number plate had partly come off and asked the staff to rectify it. i was made to wait for half an hour near the security cabin post and to top it to mechanic was sent to tape the same off, insteadof fixing the screw. when the second screw was taken off i noticed that the nut weilded to the plate had come off causing the plate to come off. when I asked for a meeting with the supervisor, Mr Raj, the person did not come to meet me. nor was I handed over the feedback form in spited of asking for it more than twice.

My car was finally givne to me after some makeshift repair of attaching a ring to the plate and affixing another screw. I was not even offered an apology

I am totally dissatisfied with the service that Honda has given me. My family ownes 4 cars, 3 of them being Marutis and when I compare Honda service even to a Maruti the service levels are pathetic.

I am totally dissatisfied after buying a 8.5 lacs hatch from Honda expecting the quality and service levels to be one up sa compared to competitors. I am not even getting the service fro honda which I get from Maruti for the other cars that my family onws (Alto, Ritz and Swift Diesel).

No wonder Honda's marketshare is dipping.

I would never go in for a Honda car again ever in my life.
