I am Prasanna, writing from Mumbai about my bike Honda Unicorn.
I have purchased the bike in 15 dec & my daily running is less than 30Km & i am driving on smooth concrete road. But this bike has several issues which for lat 7 months i a trying to get resolve. But there has been not satisfactory response ever since from any of service center or honda representative.
The problem is as follows,
Mono suspension not effective on any kind of road. Giving massive amount of jerk at smallish pot holes causing back pain. Venetian honda (mumbai-borivalli) at 1900KM & also recently at 3000km has replaced mono suspension but since it is hurting more and more. On 16th may honda engineer has checked the bike and according to him it was perfect however he instructed Venetian honda to replace my Mono suspension. After that shocks has not reduced but balancing problem as occured. i am unable to control the bike on plain concrete road. Also bike engine oil was leaked at 200 KM just after 2 week of purchase, i am addressing this all above issue from 20 Km of my bike's run but lack of knowledge of authorized service center and poor customer response from Honda Company has put me in lots of trouble.
I called honda office located in Pune-maharastra several time & requested them to call off the bike in their factory to check its condition. But they are not providing any kind of help nor giving any kind of assurance that bike is perfect in condition. Even after speaking to Head of service honda bike for Maharashtra the reply that they can not assure any of their product and its literally consumers responsibility to get bike repaired and not their even its their fault.
I AM TIRED OF GOING TO SERVICE CENTER AND ARGUING WITH PEOPLE THERE
ACCORDING TO ME THE BIKE IS FAULTY AND HAS & WILL HAVE SERIOUS ISSUES IN FUTURE. I WANT HONDA TO TAKE NOTICE OF THIS. BUT I DONT THINK THEY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER.
I AGAIN REQUEST ALL OF YOU NOT TO BUY HONDA'S PRODUCT AS THEIR QUALITY AND SERVICE IS BELOW PAR.
ALSO BIKE SHOULD NAME HONDA POPCORN NO UNICORN
