This applies to Indian railways for all their trains and Airconditioned coaches.
This awareness message is related to public health.
All I wanted a confirmation from Indian Railways that they are aware of this
already and taking care of this.
The airconditioned compartments uses recirculation in their airhandling unit
and in a closed compartment this would result in excessive built up of
Carbondioxide. Unless the recirculated air is periodically exhausted and
make up treated fresh air is introduced @ 7 cfm per person there are
chances of Carbondioxide built up in excess of 500 ppm which could
be fatal to human life.
