My father Mr. J.K. Srivastava booked ticket in deheradu- indore express AC II tier A 1 coach on 5th march from meerut to ujjain (tatkal) through internet (e-ticket). He was unable to get a print out of it but he was traveling with ID (driving licence). A TT named Mr. Nair checked my father's ticket around agra. And without following the rule that he can travel with the fine of 50 Rs. took his ID and asked him to book a new ticket upto indore. So, my father become extremely worried and then I had to take out a print out of the ticket and handed him the ticket at Agra Cantt. station. Still the TTE was not ready to return the ID to my father and argued that he will return it when the train will proceed and when I told him about the rule of travelling with the fine, he replied that there is no rule like this for tatkal. Are TTE are not aware of this rule, or they just want to harass the people?
