INDIGO AIRLINES
Harassment to Pregnant woman

I bought ticket for my and my wife's journey from Bangalore to Jaipur on 9th July. Indigo Airline Ticket PNR: HEZ7CT. My wife was 34 weeks pregnant at that point of time.

When I bought tickets there were nothing related to this written on Terms & Condition in ticket.

I checked google and in http://www.yatra.com/fare-rules.html its written & "In case of normal pregnancies, expectant mothers, up to 32 weeks of pregnancy may be permitted to fly on IndiGo flights provided there are no prior complications. After this a certificate, from the treating obstetrician, is required stating number of weeks the pregnancy has advanced and that the passenger is fit to travel by air."

We had that day's fit to fly medical certificate from Manipal Hospital, and still was not allowed to travel. All other airlines allowed travel with the medical certificate within 35 weeks of pregnancy.

It was an emergency travel requirement, and I had to buy Jet Airways ticket to go to Delhi and then take a bus to go to Jaipur, with my Pregnant wife. This was very risky, and I had to incur huge cost for last minute ticket.

I asked the Indigo reservation counter in Bangalore Airport to cancel my ticket. I have yet not got any refund money in my credit card. I immediately want my full refund back along with compensation for the harrasment and risk to my wife due to last minute denial of flight by Indigo airline.

I have raised the issue in the Indigo Feedback area at goindigo.in without any resolution till now.
