My son, daughter in law, n grand daughter came DESMOINES by Amestrdam -Mumbai Delta Flight No.0056 and was having a confirmed MUMBAI RAJKOT flight S2 397 ticket booked on 17-09-11. When he approached the jet lite counter inside the terminal (since he came by international flight) he was asked to go on out side counter) They did not accept the check-in their with the luggage. Thereafter after a lot of heated discussion was had with the staff at the counter and ultimately told that you are now late by FIVE minutes. Since DELTA flight was late. Then they were sent to domestic terminal there also the counter official did not budge. And was not allowed to check in. Per force he was asked to cancel the ticket and was required to got to BHAVNAGAR (Nearest of RAJKOT) and was charged with cancellation fee and extra fare. Is this the way your staff handles the NRI's and foreign nationals coming to INDIA. What kind of picture is painted of your AIR LINES. After traveling for 36 HOURS they were ill treated at the airport and was not allowed to board the flight which was booked since Sept. Where as a series of text messages were sent about rescheduling the flight and again changing the flight timing etc., Will this attitude be changed of the staff at the counter. Is there any way/corrective measures for this.
