REF MY COMPLAINT NO - IN1006R0055782, WHILE BOOKING A DOMESTIC TICKET (BOOKING ID FLT 000016809295), THE SYSTEM GIVES AN OPTION OF OPTING FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE. THE SYSTEN IS PROGRAMMED TO OPT FOR INSURANCE BY DEFAULT. IT MAY BE FINE TILL HERE... BUT AFTER THE PERSON BOOKING THE FLT HAS CLEARLY CHOSEN "TRAVEL INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED" AT THE APPROPRIATE PLACE IN THE BOOKING FORM, HOW DOES THE TICKET INCLUDE ÍNSURANCE DESPITE OPTING AGAINST IT? MANUAL ERROR COULD HAVE BEEN ACCEPTABLE, HAD THE SAME BEEN DONE MANUALLY ON THE TELEPHONE... BUT DETAILS BEING FILLED ON THE DIGITAL FORM CANNOT REPEAT CANNOT ALLOW THIS ERROR TO CREEP IN, UNLESS IT HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED TO DO SO...???
PLEASE TRY AND OFFER AN DIGESTABLE EXPLANATION, BEFORE I TAKE THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION. 9 PLEASE DONT INFORM ME THAT MY MONEY IS BEING REFUNDED... THAT GOES WITHOUT REQUESTING, I AM REQUESTING FOR EXPLANATION / REASONS FOR THIS UNETHICAL PRACTICE.
