To whomsoever it may concern,

I have booked 2 cars from Magic Auto Sector 13 Dwarka

Ertiga ZDi on 16th April on the name of Gagandeep Singh

New Dzire ZDi&-11th May on the name of Shruti Arora (Sister)

17th April the executive called me that he's got a ertiga VDi and if iam interested they can give me the car same day but as i wasnt interested coz:

a) I never wanted VDi

b) I had to apply for loan and it should take atleast 4-5 business days before it gets approved

At the time of booking it was confirmed by the dealer that though official wait period is 8-10 weeks but i should get my car before the given time period and at any cost it will not be delayed.

On 19th May i got this delay in delivery intimation letter by the dealer that due to huge surge in demand your car will be delivered in 36-38 weeks.

Immediately i went to the showroom to meet the GM as the letter was signed by him but he refused to meet and asked sales manager there to look into the matter.

Mr Manager agreed that there is a huge delay in the delivery and as there were 15 people above me in the list waiting for ZDi and they are getting just 2 cars in a month, they would not be able to deliver my car on time and i should immediately cancel the booking or wait till my turn till august- september.

The executive who booked my car (Pradeep Chatterjee) has not answered or replied to my calls since 48hrs.

I do understand the Maruti Suzuki is the best car in India but why do i wait if the company is failing to deliver the promises and if there are loopholes in the production management then you should officially call it off for Ertiga. At the time of booking your staff says that car will be delivered before given wait period and later you are sending letters to intimate the delay for 36-38 weeks? Thats a very clever and foul strategy to show 10, 000 bookings in the first week and later intimating and asking customers that we have failed to deliver our promises and you should immediately cancel the booking. From my experience with the company and the dealer, it is sure that it is a rip off strategy by the company or they have dealers which are out to cheat. Since company is not doing anything in the case of cheating by the dealer, it means, the company is a party to it.

I cancelled booking of Hyundai's Verna fluidic and beard Rs 5, 000/- as cancellation fee as i actually fell in LUV with Ertiga.

And now i am really disappointed with companies foul play, If this is the before sales professionalism & courtesy you are showing for two cars booked then i am wondering how horrifying after sales would be.

If i need to wait for so long then why wouldn't i wait for Toyota's Avanza to be launched end of the year and then Toyota is Toyota as one of the most reliable cars in the world.

I would rather choose to cancel both the bookings if Maruti is really part of this foul play.
