Authenticated Bifurcation of Trade Discount
Apropos our discussion had with you and assurance of full co-operation and guidance in the matter had been given by you is highly appreciable, on 25th August at your Karol Bagh Showroom while discussing on “Free Insurance & Extended Warranty” which was initially offered in your Proforma Invoice (Photocopy enclosed) but the payment for the same had been charged in the bill while purchasing the Maruti Wagon-R VXI BS-III Immobiliser (Regn. No. DL 6CL 0249) (Metallic – Silky Silver) on 29th July.
A week’s time has elapsed but I have not received the following documents as discussed on the above date. Now I again request your goodself to supply me the following documents duly authenticated at an earliest possible date to enable to proceed further in the matter :-
1. bifurcation of Trade Discount and other discounts offered to me as per Bill; and
2. effective date and amount of Corporate & Cash Discount in the month of July.
An early written reply in the matter shall highly be appreciated.

Dear Sir,
Invoice No.1597 – Allotment No.30574 – Chassis No.835226 – Engine No.4659956 –
Regn. No. DL 6CL 0249 – Unfair Trade Practice
As you are well aware of that I purchased a new Wagon-R VXI BS-III Immobiliser Car for Rs.360, 516/- from your showroom under Registration No. DL 6CL 0249 on 29th July. While booking of the above car, the Sales Executive offered Corporate Discount in addition to free Insurance, free extended warranty & heavy cash discount (copy of Proforma Invoice is enclosed). But I am sorry to say that Magic Auto had followed unfair trade practices resulting which I feel cheated by the Magic Auto when it reveals that the same model of different colours are being sold at Rs.347, 337/- and Rs.352, 346/- by the other dealers in the same city (copies of bills along with Proforma Invoices have already been supplied to you in the personal meeting dated 25th August) :-
1. Against Free Offers Rs.12, 184/- towards Insurance and Rs.1, 890/- towards Extended Warranty had been charged by the Magic Auto by using unfair trade practices. Please refund the above amounts to me.
2. Similarly, an amount of Rs.9, 881/- had been charged towards Road Tax & Registration Charges on the said date and a Receipt dated 2nd August in respect of above charges had been issued for Rs.9, 511/-. Please refund me Rs.370/- which had been over-charged.
The above query No.1 had already been brought to the notice of the Sales Executive, Mr. Amit Ram on the very next day i.e. 30th August (evening) and query No.2 conveyed to him on receiving the receipt. On many occasions I had pursued the matter with him over phone and personal meetings but no concrete result has come till date. On my personal visit to your Karol Bagh Showroom on 25th August Mr. Mohit of Accounts Department and yourself assured me of full co-operation and proper guidance in the matter but no written response / assurance was received by me till 1st September. Therefore, it is again pointed out with regret that regarding bifurcation of trade discounts, effective date and amount of Corporate Discount and Cash Discounts no reply to my SPEED POST letter dated 2nd September has been received by me till date.
Hope to get an early written / authenticated reply in the matter from your side otherwise I shall be compelled by your irresponsible attitude to move further in the matter to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. or to seek natural justice from the Hon’ble Consumer Court to get my money (Rs.14, 444 = Rs.12, 184 Rs.1, 890 Rs.370) back with accrued interest at prevailing rates of interest charged by the financers for vehicle loans, which has been over-charged from me by adopting unfair trade practices.
