I booked a maruti swift in May. Dealer promised me a max period of 4.5 months. Meanwhile new swift was launched, so i got my booking upgraded to Zdi from old Vdi. After waiting till 1st Nov i registered a complaint in Maruti that dealer is not giving me any status of my car. After 2 days i received a letter from dealer in which he asked me to opt for new Vdi which he promised me to delever on 20 Nov. Now when i got my Loan Processed and Approved from HDFC via some other branch (not from the agents sitting in Maruti Showroom), they have got me strangled again. Now they say that they will not give me car until the receive full payment and the bank says that they will not give me loan until they get insurance copy from Dealer. HDFC people tried to negotiate with Dealer but they are not responding.

Is this the way car loan are processed?

If any consumer doesn't have full payment by his disposal than he will not be able to buy car on loan as per this current scenario.

Kindly suggest me if i can register any complaint with Consumer Court in this case against Dealer or Bank, or any other way to get my car without hassle.
