Dear Sir/ma'am,

I would like to start by informing you that the kind of products/services being offered by Maruti Suzuki India Limited & its authorized service dealers are not what the consumer today is expecting and unfortunately this time that I have been a victim of this experience with MSIL products.

I have bought a new A-Star vxi model from Apra Auto (I) Pvt Ltd, Jmd Regent Plaza, Near Global Business Park, Gurgaon -122001 on 27th April with registration no: HR 26 BK3903, Chassis No: MA3EPDE1S00414514. On Thursday July 07, my car was broken down on the NH8 highway. I called Maruti helpline and they send the service engineer to inspect the car who later declared it as an engine failure which means my two months old car will have to go for a new engine.

Strangely, this fault is not covered under warranty as well as under insurance when I was provided 3 years extended warranty by the dealer. This I came to know when I took the car to the service center (in this case APRA SERVICE CENTER) and they declared that I have to pay a hefty sum for its repair as the engine has failed and most of its parts needs to be changed. Clearly, this came as a blow to me as I couldn't swalllow the fact that engine can be failed for 2 months old car.

I purchased my car from Maruti Suzuki because of the reliability of the product they offer but my case was totally different. Clearly, this incident has left a dark chapter in my memory for the Maruti Suzuki products. On top of that, no one's from Maruti heeds to my problem.

Frankly speaking I am totally disgusted and very unsatisfied with the overall experience I’ve had so far with the MSIL and its products. One thing is for sure that I would never ever suggest anybody to go for Maruti products and would also give them reasons for the same sharing my experiences so far. MSIL can either start working immediately on my complaints or sit over it and try to hide it from the industry and consumers like the way they are doing it in my case. Probably losing one customer would not affect Maruti at all but then one (irate and very dissatisfied) customer is definitely what Maruti Suzuki India Limited has lost forever.
