I own a 2008 model Swift LDI regn no CH04 4081. It has clocked 86000 kilometers. I sent it for ROUTINE SERVICE and OIL CHANGE to M/s Modern Automobiles (Maruti Dealer) in Chandigarh, on Wednesday 17th of March. We received the vehicle back on the 17th evening with the Check light coming on. The mechanic informed my driver that the problem will go away after driving for 10-15 km. When this problem did not clear even on the 18th; I sent the vehicle back to the dealership on the 18th. Now they tell me that the vehicle is not starting!!! On further analysis, the mechanic and the dealer claims that the ECM (priced at about 20, 000/-) is defective and needs to be replaced because water has entered it!!! Water from their own servicing!!!

Now they expect me to pay for their mistake!? Is that right? What the cheek!! And the Dealer non-chalantly says, go wherever you want, go to the court, go to Maruti Suzuki "I don't give a damn".
