Thanks for the prompt response within 48 Hrs.

But in case some one scrolls down thro the mails, the case is pending from the month of April'09.

Maruti is yet to act "swiftly" on this case, being a complaint w.r.t to Swift VDI.

Hope the top management at maruti should be given a feedback on this case.

Can you share me the details of the higher ups at MUL so that i can discuss further.

Also to mention that i am trusted owner of a maruti product right from 1989 and this is the first time being treated in a lethargic way and taking their own time.

1. TSM who has attended this case is Mr. Senthil of Regional office MUL Chennai (9003016728).

2. The car booked under job card ref 109960/ Inv no 11008 dt 19/10 at Perfect Maruti care, RA Puram, Chennai.

Invoice amt - 346. (strut greasing etc was not charged) Km reading - 15044.

3. The problem was attended to with some refinement, of wheel balancing, alignment and wheel rotation (the worned out front left tyre after rotation was assigned to rear right position).

4. Mr. Senthil kumar wanted to take my car to maruti service masters at ekaduthangal, which i informed him to take it and the dely of my car will be done at Perfect maruti only.

5. The car was delivered after two days.

- wheel alignment, wheel balancing tyre rotation again done inv no BR09017522 dt 23/10 km 15088.

- horn problem not attended to, reason being - wiring hareness not available.

(the running status as given by Mr. Senthilkumar was that the wiring harness being changed at around 14:00 Hrs, but by end of the day the status totally changed as wiring harness not available)

Amt 300.00 again charged to me. (for which i have paid only on 19th oct)

the outcome of this visit of my car to maruti service masters

- the rear right wheel again positioned to front left position (which was the same position prior to the work done vide job card no 109960 mentioned above)

- first of all tyre rotation done again within 4 days which is not warranted for.

Driving the car is not good and feeling of car being pulled to the left.

Horn being tuned to a very differnt pitch, which is irritating.

Same was informed to Mr. Senthil Kumar on 23rd evening itself, he said he will be reverting back to me.

But untill tuesday the 27th oct yet to get a response from him, gave him a call and asked for path forward, he has asked me to contact with Perfect maruti again for resolution.

Note :

1. Mr. Senthil was supposed to dely a letter to the effect of the problem, but he is yet to deliver the letter to me.

2. The job card entry is not done in my service booklet for the work done at service masters and charged to me.

3. For getting some points rechecked, the MUL TSM takes the car to another Service station, but charges the customer again. (the car is under first 2 yr warranty and even extended warranty is paid)

4. When contacted Mr. Senthil, and informed that the issue of my front left wheel is yet to be resolved, and asked him for his seniors contact no, he has directed me to call the call centre, also when requested for the national service heads details, he has directed me to call the call centre.

5. He feels that i am demanding too much and treats him like a slave. But actually, the way i am treated is that after paying the money for even the extended warranty of the car i am being treated as a SLAVE by MUL for attending the problem. and to the heights of it being charged for the line items twice within a week, which is normally done after 5000 kms. The horn problem is right from the day of my 1st servive and i am yet to get a solution for the same.

6. Even this time after the job being carried out at service masters, the front bumper plastic part and metal part GAP has increased further.

7. Further to this case has been referred to the call centre, with CRM ref and was informed that some one called complaints head will be calling me for resolution - no response or call till now.

THE COMPLETE CAR SERVICE HISTORY IS AVAILABLE WITH ME from "ZERO" Kms till now, with details of wheel balancing, alignment and rotation, being done at reqular intervals and that too at Maruti authorised service centre.

HOPE I WILL GET A RESPONSE FOR THIS MAIL ATLEAST NOW.

SOME ONE RESPONSIBLE HIGHER THAN TSM LEVEL WHO CAN TAKE DECISION WILL CONTACT ME FOR A RESOLUTION.

Pl do ask regional service head at chennai to call me, will explain in detail so that he can understand better.

Request not to ask your TM to call as they do not take it up further for way forward.

Even today i have contacted your chennai regional office and left a message, but i am yet to a get a call from your regional service head.

Request MUL to accept any product issues then and there, resolve it rather than dragging the case.

I am trusted Maruthi owner from 1989. But unfortunately there is no commitment from maruthi this time for getting issues resolved!!!

As of now there is no confirmation on my request as below.

"In case MUL wants to analyse, pl send one set of Bumper and grill in silver grey color for Swift, so that the horn analysis can start."

Today I have left my car for repair

1. front left wheel bearing issue.

Tyre has worn out. How come the wheel bearing is going for a toss by 15, 000 kms?

MUL needs to change the Tyre Free of cost.

The total cost of the repair should be part of the warranty clause.

2. horn issue - which is a long pending issue.

Job order no : 10960 dt 19/10, Perfect Maruthi Care RA puram chennai.

Hope your chennai service dept will act swiftly atleast now for controling the damage of displeasure with the swift customer.

One of the horns not working.

Mr. Senthil your Territory service manager gave me a call regarding this case.

I had clearly asked him " the status of front grill and bumper availability of silver grey color", which should be replaced free of cost in case the plastic locks breaks during the horn failure analysis, as the access to the horn.

Hope MUL is going to act on it swiftly!!! (being a swift model)

Would again like to mention that this is third time my car;s horn is going faulty within a span of 12 months of the purchase of the car.

Received a call from Mr. Senthil Kumar, Territorial Service Manger, Chennai regional Office. 044-28233052.

Have clearly mentioned to him, that in case any problem arising in the horn and it needs removal of front grill and bumper, it can be done, only on the assurance from MUL that the front grill/Bumper will be replaced at free of cost.

With this copied to my friend, who has the same experience/issue with the horn of swift - the car which was taken delivery three days after mine, requesting him to share his issues on swift horn, which your service team is of the opinion that it is specific to my car only.

Also would like to ask one my uncle, to share his experience with swift, horn, who has changed the horn and replaced it with a better one, if you require one more source to understand the problem for rectification on a generic basis.

In case you are not yet convinced, a signature campaign can be organised by me at your service station (s) with all customer's who are driving in for service, to make it clear to MUL to understand the problem.
