MARUTI SWIFT LDI
WORST QUALITY WORST SERVICE ALL THINK BEFORE BUYING

MARUTI SWIFT WORST EXPERIENCE IN LIFE LIST OF COMPLAINTS

in my heartful opinion swift/maruti is one of the worst brands to buy an automobile from... they lack committment and quality in service leaving the customers to unimaginable MISERY... I liked a lot and wanted to buy maruti swift ldi and booked the vehicle and got delivered after 45 days on a condition after agreeing to buy accesories worth xxx rs from dealer (autofin paradise) but..i never knew that it was going to be the beginning of dissapointment and sadness in my life when i bought maruti swift (LDI-diesel basic)... i was shocked to find that MY CAR'S A/C AC WAS INSUFFICIENT on the very 2nd of delivery itself which has hardly driven 20kms, and when i contacted the dealer, he directed me to his workshop with a careless and unwelcoming attitude. with no choice left as the dealer said it was not their mistake but very much a fault of maruti compnay, I went to the service station but the people at the service staion are such a reluctant and riduculous persons that they NEVER ADMIT ANY ISSUE with a/c cooling even though it was quite OBVIOUS . after multiple visits they finallly cross checked with other car and finally agreed that my car's a/c was insuffcient (thermoeter kept in the a/c vent on other swift went showed a reading of 5.4'C whereas mine stopped at startling 8.4'C only). they took the car for repair, I conviced myself that though it was a very very new car, human errors happen and took the issue lightly . but to my further resentment started, when after a/c was repaired, the MILEAGE FALLEN DOWN to 12kmpl (diesel) which was earlier 15kmpl (both with a/c on city drive) which again they blame it on us and say it depends on the person driving..WHICH IS VERY RIDICULOUS because I am the only man who drove my car before and after repair of a/c. in this mean time, i gave car for 1st servicing @1000km with the complaint of POOR MILEAGE 12kmpl, where i hoped evrything becomes fine, but after the service, the CAR LAGGED A LOT AND THERE WAS NO PICK UP and car used to stop suddely due to lack of power in 2nd GEAR which I thought would improve overtime. after weeks of time it became further worse and didnt improve at all..so i have decided the current workshop is abnormal and took the car to a different workshop where they said excess ENGINE OIL was filled in car which LEAKED INTO TURBO AND INTERCOOLER (mind u guys, eng oil for swift is 2.9L not 3.5L etc etc as claimed by irate people, sometimes even authorized centres lack this knowledge) thats why pick up was low..this new showroom guys have removed that oil but again... after doing so my car started producing very lound and blunt ENGINE NOISE which was quite uncomfortable similar to that of sound when there is a hole on silencer... apart from this steering wheel used to vibrate like a grinding machine... WITH THESE COMPLAINTS i have approached AREA/TERROTORY SERVICE MANAGER of MARUTI who represents maruti directly. he checked my vehicle and as a known fact he also NEVER ADMITTED ANY ISSUE and said nothing is wrong..he just laments ur car is OK..bullshit is it what we expect an OK car, rather than a perfect one... HA HA BLOODY... i have paid visits umpteen times but still they wil never agree. I was lil relived when one of the old technicians working in maruti showroom whom i knew told me that, excess oil will take some time to clear and the noise would subside after the oil gets relieved... and finallly i thanked god as over a period of time, sound and vibration both subsided... but now a NEW ISSUE came up..WHEEL NOISE which is due to poor WHEEL BALANCING and FAULTY TYRES of swift.this time i was luck that they have agreed the problem was there and on my insisting..they changed front tyres... and after all this was over now ..the CAR, STEERING WHEEL AND PEDALS SHAKE WIERDLY WHILE I DRIVE IN CITY TRAFFIC indicating that engine is UNABLE TO TAKE LOAD..which again they dont admit and is still goes UNRECTIFIED... which I think is a consequence of excess engine oil filling

keepin this experience in hand with MULTIPLE PROBLEMS within 6000kms itself... i restate that maruti swift has changed a lot from its previous quality (I DIDNT MENTION ABOUT THE IRRITATING RATTLING noise inside cabin). and i think IT IS RIGHT TIME TO THINK OF OTHER ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS other than SWIFT and SWIFT IS NO BETTER THAN OTHER MODELS..and if one thinks intelligently it is not hard to find that DEMAND FOR SWIFT has made the company CARELESS AND NEGLIGENT and finally QUALITY COMPROMISED..i suggest that MARUTI SERIVE REPRESENTATIVES to shedd off OVER and SURPLUS POLITENESS INSTEAD FOCUS on real issues to solve the problems and give CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION rather than BEREAVEMENT. I am NOT a propagator for any company or any model but jus sharing my expereince so that things come to limelight.. I feel the first and new car experience has been a DISASTER for me ripping me of fun and happiness ..after putting lakhs of hard earned money to fulfill the dream of buying a car. Please look at other options instead of BLINDLY buying SWIFT, there are other cars which can offer better service and performance. looking at my STORY two of my frnds have bought other models of a different brand (not even other models of maruti) and they are very much satisfied with it..so ppl its never too late to take a right decision and Let the demand for swift come down and Maruti will be on their knees to set right their DEFFICIENT QUALITY AND WORST SERVICE... a let the Indians enjoy some quality products and service and imagine all this is happening in a metro city like Hyderabad think of plight in suburbs and towns by owning a Maruti...

maruti has clearly proven that they are INEFFICIENT IN SERVICE AND RECTIFICATION OF THEIR OWN FAULT. and the answer to the question why should anyone TRUST MARUTI/SWIFT BLINDLY SO MUCH??? is left to us.
