Cancellation of Cab Booking without prior Information

I had booked a Mega Cab, Mumbai on 27th June for 08.15 am in the morning. The booking was done a day in advance and even got a confirmation SMS. At 08.00 am morning on 27th Jun' 11, having not received the SMS with Car/Driver Details, i called up the toll free number & was informed shamelessly that the Cab supposed to pick me up has broken down, so there will be no pick-up!! When after being shocked at this irresponsible service, i insisted that an alternative arrangement be made, the customer service executive had the audacity to proclaim that nothing can be done and hanged the phone down, while i was still talking...

This experience has been faced by me twice with Mega Cabs within a span of 2 weeks. If they can't provide the service, what is the point in taking the booking 24hrs in advance. Plus they have pathetic Customer Care Service and no service sense at all... and they claim in their website about their service experience... Its pathetic and irrationally shabby..They should be answerable to the customer about such service rather than just hanging up the phone!!
