Dear Sir,
I am serving soldier of Indian Armed Forces and I have completed my 11 years of service in Army. Sir I had travel from Ambala Cantt to New Delhi on 15 May and reach Delhi at 1130 AM. I had boarded the bus from patiala at 0500 hrs in the morning and reached Ambala Cantt Station at 0615 hrs. I went to the current reservation counter and exchanged my warrant for current reservation in Shatabdi Exp Train No 2006. I got it exchanged but no seat was given whereas 13 seats were available when I checked in the station itself. A ticket printed with 3 AC was given to me and when I asked the ticket giver he said you ask TTE in the train he will exchange it and give you seat. But still I had some doubts in my mind I went to enquiry counter and asked their, A young lady sitting their said no problem you can board the train and ask the TTE for seat. I did not leave it there and I went to room no 10 that is Ticket Officer Room and a man with beard was sitting their I enquired with him, but he was so rude that he was not even bothered to give any response to me and he was sitting idle not busy with any work or phone, I thought I disturbed him early in the morning, still I did'nt leave and asked him again he said in loud voice go board the train and ask TTE he will give you seat. I was waiting for the train another 10 minutes was there for train arrival. Meanwhile I saw my collegue who was working in MCO was coming I went to have tea. We were having tea and chatting generally the train arrived I rushed towards the the train and boarded C11 coach which was nearby to me. The train started moving, I was waiting outside the cabin as TTE was busy checking the tickets of C11 coach along with me one more family with 3 children was waiting with their waiting list ticket. The TTE (Mr Sunny Bhain, Dy Supdt) came to me and asked for the ticket, I showed him the ticket the TTE polietely said to me that there are no seats and I have to get down in the next station that is Kurukshetra. Or else I shall be eligible for fine, I expained the whole procedure of my current booking. Meanwhile Mr S Singh (Dy Supdt) arrived and asked what happened then Mr Sunny Bhain showed him my ticket he immediately without even listening or enquiring rudely started saying "IN LOGON KA DIMAK KARAB HAI and so on". I told him not to behave like that and also use unfair language to me. But he didnt stop and used a language which shall not be used by any of the person for his customer. I said I will report this matter to the authorities, Mr S Singh theatened me, that he will hand over me to RPF. I dont know what mistake I have done. I requested Mr Sunny Bhain to charge me if anything is there from Ambala Cantt and Kurukshetra, but he refused and he noted down my warrant no saying that if you report the matter they might ask me and I need your warrant no for that purpose. I got down in Kurukshetra and went to the station master office their I was told it would be good to report in New Delhi that reporting here. I went out of the station and boarded a bus and paid Rupees 96 and reached Delhi at 1245 hrs. I not worried about that I am late or I had to pay and travel. I am only worried that this behaviour of Mr S Singh towards a Serving soldier of Indian Armed Forces is shameful and he is not at all considering Soldiers of this Country as human beings. Imagine if this behaviour of Mr S Singh towards is this way, what will be to the normal civilian passenger. I had travelled a lot from South to North but never seen a person like Mr S Singh. All the TTE are very polite and very friendly to us, but Mr S Singh is very different. If Mr S Singh is not willing to give any respect to Soldiers its okay but the way he behaves is very painful. I dont want him to give me respect but I want him respect to my other collegues who will be travelling in the same train one day or another. What if he behaves with every soldier like this. Why is he behaving like this, was he not trained properly or was he not instructed about the behaviour to his passengers. WHY???
Who ever is reading this. I am normal soldier, but ready to lay my life for my country. I want you to look into the matter and do the justice for Serving Soldiers.
