This is regarding the service availed at ABT Maruti at Pollachi (Coimbatore) for my AStar VXi on 2nd June. During the service, I had complained that the front-right tyre pressure regularly decreases to 22-24 (over a period of 2 weeks) after filling the air pressure (32), while the rest of the tyre pressure stays around 30. Then, while delivery the service supervisor was not available for me to know whether the problem was fixed or not. Then after a couple of days I had to call up and I was said that there was no problem with the above said tyre and nothing was wrong. And after 2 weeks from this, I checked the tyre pressure and to my surprise the front-right trye pressure was at 22 while the rest of the tyres pressure was at 31. Now it was totally disgusting for me, as I had tyre rotation included in the service, and this meant the tyre rotation was not done properly. I went to the service station and complained that the tyre rotation was not done properly. And to this, they were trying to defend themselves in all the possible ways and they even showed me that there was a puncture in that wheel which was fixed and this was different from what was said to me on phone. There was not a proper response and professional behaviour towards the customer. After having some tough conversation, they just asked a guy to exchange the front-right wheel to the back-right wheel and then said things are fixed now. I was really fed of talking to them and now I am wondering why did I pay for wheel balancing, rotation, alignment.
And this I am writing to you out of sheer desperation. This was really a pathetic and disappointing service experience. It raises a question on the trust that we have with Maruti and also the service dealer.
