My wife and I had used the services of Agarwal Packers and movers to transport goods from Hyderabad to Bengalooru. Our woes began the day they came to pack and send goods.
* To pack a medium sized household, they sent only 2 packers. The packers arrived at 10 AM, when we had asked them to expressly come at 4 PM. They had to be sent away and they returned at 4 PM. The packing ran till 12 in the night because of the lack of adequate personnel
* We had transported 3 glass aquariums. All three of them were brought broken to pieces in spite of their so called 'secure packing'.
* They managed to break a dining chair besides this.
* The moment all this was discovered, their unpacking professional dumped all of it in our hall, left their crates and packing material and went away before we could even react.
* The bed which they had dismantled and packed is not yet assembled.
* Multiple calls to their people seems to be of no avail. I have spoken to the local Bangalore office. the Delhhi helpline, one Mr. Pradeep who is the business head.
We think their point of view is, the cash is in the kitty, so why bother. If so, the name should be changed form Agarwal Packers and Movers to Agarwal Breakers and Robbers.
