I bought a Punto emotion FIAT Car from Kulathunkal Motors Trivandrum on 28/03 at about 6.30 pm. I Myself drove away the vehicle to my home at Karunagappally and made registration formalities there at Karunagappally SRTO ON 29.03.2012 and came back to Trivandrum on 30.12.2012.
On the third day morning while washing the vehicle I noticed that a damaged tyre was fitted on the front right side. I repported the matter to the dealer. The dealer service engineer inspected the tyre and promised me verbally that they will replace the tyre after inspection by the Goodyearindia Company.
Goodyear india people inspected tyre and issued a rejection letter--copy attached. I would like to know the date of manufacturing, waranty period, cost including tax.
I got expert opinion that the damage is not due to any external injury.
In this context I request you to replace the damaged Tyre through the dealer or else I may be forced to move to THE CONSUMER DISPUTE REDREESSAL COMMISSION.
The matter was already informed to the dealer and they replied that they will bear 50% cost of the new tyre. I would also like to know whether the other 50% wil be borne by Goodyear company or not.
