Please refer to my communication dated 30.05.2011 bringing to your attention the deficiency in service on part of HONDA, its dealers, service centers causing mental agony and harassment.

1. I purchased HONDA I-V TECH, chasis no. MAKGM252D9N. During first service itself, car was damaged by Ring Road Honda, Peeragarhi, Delhi. After a protracted follow up Back-light and bumper were agreed to be replaced by HONDA. Same were got replaced from Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon.

2. In view of news paper reports calling back HONDA CITY. I had delivered my car on 2.03.2011 at around 13 hrs. to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon for necessary part change. At the time of delivering my vehicle, since car was giving starting trouble from very beginning, I requested for checking of battery. I received a call informing that battery is not working properly and need replacement. After taking up matter with dealer and HONDA 121, a decision was taken and conveyed to me by HONDA that battery will be replaced free of cost. Subsequently, about after three days I was advised to take delivery of car without replacing battery with the assurance that in case there is any problem with battery same will be replaced free of cost. I took back delivery of car on 5.03.2011. After PUD, it is noticed that when car is driven at speed above 70 kmphr, it gives noise like being that of Diesel vehicles. I had taken up matter with HONDA several times but there is no satisfactory solution to it. I even sent my car to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon on 26.04.2011 but still there is no solution. On discussion with automobile engineer, it is understood that noise may be due to faulty fuel injectors. Since there was no noise before PUD, it is apprehended that dealer may have fiddled/ replaced fuel injectors.

3. It may be mentioned that my car was having starting trouble from very beginning, for which I had also availed services of Honda road side help several times last being on 22.05.2010 vide reference no. 16952. Since then I am regularly following up with HONDA 121 without any fruitful result.

4. Vide communication dated 30.05. I had requested your intervention in the matter to settle the issue of unwarranted noise and change of defective battery. The matter was discussed with General Manager, Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon on 31.05.2011. After explaining the matter for about an hour to him, he assured that both the concerns will be addressed satisfactorily. He requested me to send the car. A mutual date on 6.06.2011 was agreed for sending the car to Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon.

5. As there is always a tendency on the part of Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon not to address the concerns instead keep the customer hanging and also not to give any written assurances for future reference, I requested General Manager, Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon to send an e-mail to the effect that battery is being replaced free of cost and noise problem will be addressed. I am yet to receive e-mail in this regard.

6. To my utter surprise, I again received a call from Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon at 10:33 AM today. They again started asking about details of concern. The whole exercise had again come to a roundabout without any solution.
