Inefficient service by Maruti Deale

I have bought a car few days back, which have a rear door (handle) problem from the very first day when i pointed out the same the dealer M/s Berklay Automobiles told me to come any time this is a minor problem. I went next day they deputed their denter he did his work with hammer and other tools after half an hour he sort out that problem but make the dent also with his hammer work.

Again i noticed the same problem with other rear door, the door is only close after a hard push (not easily close). But we wait for few days and on 26.03.2010 my father went for first service of car after 26 days or 380 Kms at 1030 hrs. My father told the executive for the door and reverse gear problem also, after three hours when car comes out the problem was still there, after pointed the same by my father the staff of service said it is ok only you feel and told that if there is some problem will be ok after few time and they applied the same practice as applied earlier with hammer and all. The brand new car comes out with dents only after sitting for more than four hours. You can well imagine how comfortable is sitting for more than four hours for 67 yrs old man. That was only torture for my father.

Next day i went with same problem with same car. I met the man Mr Makoo, Service Manager, after telling him my problem he checked the car and telling the baseless reasons i.e. this problem is come when the all doors and window glasses are closed because of the pressure of air, i told him then what will i do should i open the other door or window before closing this door, only then he called his denter who took half an hour and at last he said the problem was coming because of center locking system i replied that is also placed by your showroom. He made some placing of lock and few % problem sorted out and i left the showroom.

I bought an ALTO LXI one year back from same showroom that time i also experienced the not satisfactory services of the dealer as my driving side door window glass was loose and noise comes out at the time of driving, but they could not sort out the same of 2nd and 3rd free service at at last i repaired the same from outside.

What i feel about the service is that:

1. The inefficient staff.

2. Non- availability of good mechanical staff in the India's largest selling car company showroom.

3. Harassment for customers for taking or wasting time of the customers.
