My wife deepika prakash, her sister monika bhatnagar, and my 1 yr old son were travaelling by india airlines flight IC849 from delhi to pune on 30 nov scheduled at 1600hrs. they reached air port at 1430hrs, by the time she checked in her luggage and reached the boarding pass couneter, after waiting in que for 45 min, she was told that since she was late, she will not be allowed to board the flight, Inspite of repeated explanations and requests they did not let her board the flight. Flight finally left at 1630 hrs. She was also misguided by the indian airlines staff, that they will send her in another flight scheduelled later in the night the same day. Later they started asking for Rs10000 /- per head to book the flight in some other airline . on refusing my wife was told that she can only go next day by the same flight (IC849). In the entire event an indian airline staff Mr. lamba was the person did not coooperate, was rude, and was not ready to listen. My wife waited at the airport from 1430 to 2130 on airport and reached pune the next day by the same schedule flight (IC849). probably the airlines had already sold the ticket to some one else or some thing else. This is regular affair at IA. I request, some stern action should be taken against the staff or they should be heavely fined so that they dare not trouble the passangers, especially an alone lady with a small child. thank you
