WRONG INFORMATION TO THE CUSTOMER TO SELL HIGHER RATE TICKETS

I Nitin Kedia had gone to the nariman point Inox for a 8.00 P.M Agneepath movie on the 04/02. My ticket numbers are A027101 to A027104.

I had reached with my friend to the box office around 7:30 P.M that is half an hour prior to the show. Firstly due to some technical fault they were not accepting cards for the payments and after withdrawing money from a near by ATM when i reached the box office again and asked the person to show the available seats in different category he showed us the available seats in the first 4 rows and and a few at the rear 5 rows on the system. After which we decided to buy tickets of Rs. 380 insted of the Rs. 350 as it was of the first four rows.

While during the show i noticed that around 50% of the seats were empty and the row right ahead of us also was empty which belonged to the MID category. After the show when i went and met the manager on duty and expressed my concern to him he said that there are various categories for which they need to reserve the seats for an example he told 40% of the seats are reserved for the internet bookings. As per my knowledge internet booking shuts 1 hour prior to the show time.

This is a routine practice at your theater. Giving wrong information to the customers just to sell tickets of the higher rate is not right. I am forwarding a copy of this mail to the consumer complaints forum.
