Watch not functioning

I bought Espirit wristwatch (Date of purchase: 02/07) SKU:4960528 worth Rs 4495/- from Shopper's Stop, Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad. Tel:040-44609500-9502

Within two weeks the watch stopped functioning and had to take it to customer service at Shopper's Stop. The retail operations manager Manoranjan Das and Department Manager Ravi Kumar claimed that the watch is fine and it needs to be checked.

The behaviour of these two people was callous as they went on and on saying that the problem is only with the battery. They sent my watch to Espirit service center.(Date: 13/8)

My watch was given back to me on 4th September.

After two weeks the watch again stopped functioning. The watch starts working only when I change the time and works for two -three hours and again stops.

I again took the watch to the same customer service at Shopper's Stop and this time they kept my watch for observation.

The next day a customer service guy again called up and said that the watch is working and nothing is wrong with the watch.

I am perplexed that the watch which was unable to run for 5-6 hrs at a stretch has not stopped for a full 24 hours.

They had requested that they will observe the watch for another two days and will call again.

I would like to register a complaint against Shopper's Stop customer service for lying & bad rude behaviour to customers and Espirit brand for coming up with watches that has manufacturing defects.

I would like to have a replacement of this watch.
