Nokia mobile phone model no.1203
Second hand product sold as new fraudulently and unable to get warranty as a result which should have been available to me

I bought a Nokia mobile phone 1203 model no. on 02.05.2010 from MObile Store chain at City Centre saltlake, Kolkata. I went for servicing of the same on 30.04.2011 since the product is covered by 12months warranty. But I was informed by the servicing centre from their own website that the product's warranty ended way back on 24.09.2010! When I contacted the Mobile Store they kept the phone for two days and then informed me that Nokia has now changed their product warranty policy and it is now available only for 18 months from manufacturing date! Nokia has rubbished the claim but refused to intervene in the matter as the seller has swindled me by selling a second hand product as new.
