MALPRACTICE IN BAJAJ

I had obtained a loan of Rs.16000/- from Bajaj finance to buy a new computer during Sep’2007. I had issued 8 HDFC Coimbatore cheques towards my EMI of Rs.month.

The cheque issued by me was a non MICR cheque and it should be presented for payment at Coimbatore branch only and the same has been clearly mentioned to Bajaj representative at the time of availing the loan. Bajaj has presented 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 installment cheque at Coimbatore and the same has been cleared. 2nd installment cheque was presented at Pollachi and the same has not been cleared and I paid through cash to Bajaj representative, the same has been reflected in account statement also.

7th & 8th installment cheque, Bajaj has presented for payment at Pollachi and the same has not been cleared. I noticed the same and informed Bajaj office at Pollachi and remitted the cash on 4th June. In addition, the entire loan has been fully settled as per my books of accounts. (For your kind reference, I am enclosing all documents)

During Mar’09 I had applied a home loan and the same has been rejected by banker. While I was enquiring the reason for rejection they mentioned that my credit rating in CIBIL shows a overdue of Rs.4000/- for which I have made the Payment (please find AD receipt).

I had a discussion with Bajaj R.S.Puram Coimbatore branch office regarding the same. Based on the same I came to know that there is a dispute between Bajaj and their franchisee in Pollachi. Since we all know only Bajaj Finance and availed the loan only based on the same. There is no need for us to read and study the relationship with Bajaj & franchisee. A senior officer from Bajaj Coimbatore branch has told me to bring me the person whom (Bajaj finance) I paid the last installment and rudely told me to approach the consumer court for the same.

I had cleared and paid all the dues through my hard-earned money and I had paid in proper manner. I had affected by Bajaj and Franchisee. It is absolutely their fault but I had suffered. The dispute should be resolved with Bajaj and franchise the responsibility for the same will be only for Bajaj not for a customer like us.

Bajaj is showing a overdue in my account, so this makes my credit rating bad and no one is ready to provide a loan to me.
