Through one of my friend, a Dell make Laptop was purchased from Dell Computers in USA and bought to Delhi. I have approached Dell India for extending warranty and ongoing service support. The Customer Service of Dell computers have agreed for the same and asked me to pay Rs.15, 000/- for the same, which I agreed and the same was paid through by Axis Bank Credit Card. However, to my surprise the company informed me after a weeks time that the said product cannot be supported in India since it was a recent launch in USA. The company have agreed to refund the amount paid to them. The amount was paid to them on October 17 and it is more than a month now - still the company has not refunded the said amount to me. I seek your assistance in directing the company to refund the amount with interest and penalty for not honouring their commitment.
