Egarding battery problem before 1 yr warrenty

Hi,

this is bhoopendra. i have purchased dell inspiron 1440 laptop. i got the big battery problem within warrenty. battery is getting discharged within 10 min, and some popup is coming "consider replacing your battery". regarding this i called and had email conversation with dell customer service but their technical support is giving lot of excuses and are not ready to replace the battery. even they are offering to buy a new battery. after making every attempt this is the last platform i am seeking help from. plz help me in this case.
