I bought the Inspiron 14R with 1 GB of ATI graphics three months ago. Th service tag for my purchased system is: DTBN6BS
Since the very first week i have been facing problems with total freezing and crashing of the laptop. Dell support identified it as a hard disk defect and replaced the hard disk.
But even after that my laptop continueed to freeze frequently and unexpectedly. Dell support then identified it as a motherboard issue and offered to replace the motherboard.
I asked Dell to replace my laptop as it was a brand new purchase with defects. Since making the request i have received absolutely no response from Dell. I have tried communicating to them in every possible way, but they are just not responding.
For past three months i am stuck with a malfunctioning laptop and Dell is doing nothing about it. I am highly disappointed with Dell support and service. Also, I now know that this is a common problem with Inspiron laptops. Dell has been shipping these faulty laptops since last one year and has still not done any quality control for the same.
