Dell inspiron 1545
Adapter problem

My adapter is not charging the battery of the laptop but still it is showing 'plugged in status'.

but i can use it directly by the power supply.the amount of battery charged is remaining constant even if i am plugging the charger that is the the battery is not ever getting 100% charged.
