This is a designing firm located in Kochi, Kerala. I have purchased an Epson Stylus PRO 3885 ink jet printer costs about Rs.70, 000/- April through local supplier of Epson. While purchasing we were promised good support and immediate delivery of cartridges. Two / three months back one of the cartridge has finished and ordered. While ordering the local supplier told us that the cartridge is not in stock and will take about 3 days to delivery. But the 3 days became weeks and we complaint through website. Then we got the cartridge after waiting more than a month.
But unfortunately while inserted the cartridge printer showed error. So we called the local service engineer and they attended (I appreciate, he came immediately). He said this is a defect of the cartridge and he given report also saying cartridge to be replaced. So we contacted the local supplier and they accepted the cartridge on 3rd June saying the same story of 3 days. Until now (26th June) we have not received the cartridge and the local supplier of Epson says, they don’t have any idea when the cartridge will come.
For about 3 months now, we are unable to use this printer. If this is the case how can I use the printer. Cartridges will finish again and again and each time I have to wait for months. Please note that the printer is just one year only and now this is the case what will be condition after 2 or 3 years.
Please advise me what I have to do in this.
