MISGUIDING THE CUSTOMER AND FOOLING THEM

TO WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERNED.

I FACED A PROBLEM OF 6 PART DISPLAY IN MY HP NOTEBOOK, MODEL NO-DV-2601-TX, I WENT TO THE HP SERVICE CENTRE, RT OUTSOURCING, KIRTI NAGAR CENTRE, NEW DELHI.

I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN MOTHERBOARD AND IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I WAS GIVEN A PRICE RS.9000.00 FOR THE MOTHERBOARD AND CONFIRMED THAT IT WILL BE DONE, BUT NO MODEL NUMBER WAS TOLD TO ME, NOTHING MORE WAS EXPLAINED TO ME APART THE PRICE. I AGREED TO THE PRICE AND SUBMITTED THE NOTENOOK TO THEM.

LATER ON RECEIVING MY NOTEBOOK BACK AFTER 15-20 DAYS, I STARTED FACING SOME MORE ISSUES WITH THE NOTEBOOK, FOR THAT I DID THE FACTORY SETTINGS, STILL THE PROBLEM REMAINED, AND I FOUND THAT, THE MOTHERBOARD WHICH WAS TO BE CHANGED i.e. MODEL NO 716, WAS NOT INSTALLED AND THE ALTERNATE OF IT i.e. MODEL NO 715 WAS INSTALLED, TO SAVE THE PRICE COST. I WAS UNAWARE ABOUT IT, AS I WAS NOTHING TOLD BY THE EXECUTIVES AT THE CENTRE, WHILE SUBMITTING THE MACHINE.

NOW, ON ASKING THEM WHY YOU DIDN'T TOOK MY CONSENT BEFORE DOING ALL THIS BLUNDER, THEY ARE ARGUING WITH ME.AND SAYING THAT I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA MORE FOR THE 716 MODEL.
