Laptop Not working properly

Hi,

I got a HP Dv 6767TX laptop. Its not working at all. It has the Nvidia 8400GS graphics card. I went to the service center they told that they cannot repair it. So was it my fault to buy HP. They customer care people are also adamant they tell that they do not know anything. I checked in the net that similar problems are there for all laptops having the same graphics card due to over heating, . I want to have my laptop repaired. many people have the same problem What shall i do.
