I had purchased the HP Pavilion DV6-1211 AX Laptop from CROMA Lower Parel Mall vide Invoice no. 106-88133 dated 24/10. i have paid Rs.1800 extra for 2 year extended warranty. Recently I had some problem with the laptop. Hence, I went to SIMTECH COMPUTRONICS Pvt LTD, HP's Authorised Service Center at Dadar which is nearer to my residence.
The service center has found out that I have taken 2 year exteded warranty from Croma, but clearly mentioned to me that I have to pay for the repairs. Accordingly they have sent me the estimate of Rs.6615/- which I have paid on 26/2 (receipt no. 2695). Being my daughter has to submit her project work to her college, I was not having any option to delay the repairs but to pay the same.
Subsequestly I went to Croma, but they have denied to reimburse me the amount paid by me as I have not gone to their service centre. I strongly feel that this is clear cheating and extracting an extra amount from the customers while purchasing the new product.
I hope i will get the justice by this consumer forum
