I purchased a HP Pavilion DV63054TX laptop on 22-Sept and within 2 weeks it start giving problems. The display screen was having some problem and when i registered a complain via phone they guided me but the problem was not solved. The problem was with the hardware of the screen but they were guiding to uninstall and reinstall some applications. Then I took my laptop on 18-october to their service center in Ranchi and they told me that the display has to be replaced. So they told me that they can only replace the display an not the entire laptop as it was in warranty. I agreed to it. They also told me that it will hardly take 7-8 days to get this job done. Its alreafy more than 25 days have gone and there is no sign of getting my laptop. They are just giving excuses that the spare part is ordered from Delhi but can please someone tell me how long it take to get something delivered from Delhi to Ranchi. My friends suuggested me to go for Sony Vaio or Dell as they have great customer service but I opted for HP wich I thought was a good brand but my experience with HP is horrible and I would never suggest anyone to purchase any HP product. Many of my friends got problems witht their laptops whether its a Sony Vaio, Dell, Acer or any other big Player in laptop market but all got their laptop repaired maximum within a week's time. I need some serious steps to be taken in my case asap. I am having lots of problems because of HP's worst customer service. I am a MBA student and its my end semester time so I have lot of work which cant be accomplished without laptop.
