I bought the above Intel motherboard in early 2011. Intel has now officially recalled the motherboard as it has a design problem. Before submitting the defective motherboard I asked the service centre how long it would take. They said maximum 5 working days. Intel confirmed that it will replace it but it cannot do so as it is not in stock. They refuse to give either an equivalent or a refund despite it now being 3 working wks being over.

Board was submitted on 4th of July. As I am a media professional I am unable to work. I was promised that the issue would be resolved by the past Tuesday but instead of resolving or answering emails, the customercare in bangalore keeps cutting the line. the service centre in delhi says it can do nothing. A company that on one hand boasts billions of profits, yet on the other hand puts a defectively designed motherboard onto the market and traumatizes providing the stipulated warranty. It further puts salt on the wounds by saying the matter has been escalated and that it will arrive soon. In actual fact, noone knows when the refurbished motherboard will come. This appears to be a company policy to make getting warrant so difficult for individual customers in order that they dont ask for the promised relationship.
