I had purchased Pavlion dv6-6050EE laptop frpm Dubai in March / April with one year International warranty wef 3/11 . All of sudden it was not booting and I brought it to HP service centre in Sufdarjung enclave A 2/177, New delhi under registerd complaint ID 4666833705 . HDD test was showing fail "hard disck quick" HDD no CT 2BAZD01830AF2Yand it was replaced with new one on 25.11.2011 under Service event IDT 111/N239 and repai reference XC17115933/o2N.
Installed part details are Part number 608218-001 HDD (500GB). Installed part 2BNJK-183--RD
The operating system Window -7 Home premium could not be retieved and installed. I have tried to contact HP Dubai throught purchase shop shop and I was informed that if laptop is sent to Dubai it can be re-installed free of cost.
It is not possible for me to sent it to Dubai. I would like to request you kindly help me to install Window -7 home preimium as good will gesture from your company .as I am senior ciizen and can't afford to by new software. In fact lap top was gifted to me by my daughter.
