I have a broadband connection with Airtel and my Airtel phone no. is 41122016. My plan is 512kbps.

On 8th. Nov I complained to Airtel that instead of getting a speed of 512kbps I was actually getting only 64kbps. The operator at the Airtel end told me that even though i was paying for 512 kbps. I would on;ly get 64 kbps. and that was the Airtel policy. That is very strange because prior to my complaint I was actually getting a speed of 478 kbps. Then the next day after another complaint I was told that my computer was affected by a virus and that I would have to buy anti-virus from Airtel and only then i would get the correct speed. A third operator told me that Airtel had scaaned my computer through remote methods and determined that my computer was infected with a virus. I cannot understand this - can my service provider actually scan my computer remotely and check my hard disk? I ran my legal anti-virus and got a report that there was no virus infection on my computer. Afetr a fourth complaint to Airtel, one engineer was sent to my house and he fixed the problem and he said that it was a back rnd fault from Airtel and that there was a block in the gateway from Airtel to my connection. He removed the block and now I am getting a speed of around 480 kbps. I did not have connection for three days and i was told a lot of lies by the Airtel operators when I contacted 121. I feel very cheated and would like to see justice done. Thank you for giving me a chance to tell you the truth. The escalation dept. at Airtel 121 now do not talk to me and are avoiding my calls. I have been a customer of Airtel broadband for 5 years and this is how they treat a customer.
