Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Sri Gopinath Mishra, 86Yrs am a resident of Word No 13, and have an open well in my premises, for the past 45 yrs, the water from which is used for the purpose of drinking, cooking and other house hold jobs.
This is to put on record the facts that, since the last one year, the water from the well is not usable since there is a contamination found in the water. It may be noted that the water smells and tastes like Kerosene.
I would like to put on record the fact that, there is a unit manufacturing sweets, which shares a common wall with my property and I doubt that there is a spillage of Kerosene from the adjoining unit, which I understand stores Kerosene for their captive consumption.
I have already submited applications to the following offices on 27.10.2010. But there is NO action has been taken any of these offices till date.
(1) The District Collector, Bargarh
(2) The Supdt of Police, Bargarh.
(3) The Regional Director, Orissa Pollution Control Board, Sambalpur
(4) The District Supply Officer, Bargarh
(5) The Chairman, Bargarh Municipality Corporation.
Your immediate intervention with an appropriate action is anticipated on this issue, since the ground water is getting contaminated due to this spillage.
