We bought a Kitchen Chimney from M/S.Dash Enterprises on 02-08. The total price of the chimney was Rs 9450. While purchasing we negotiated and the shopkeeper agreed for us to pay 6000 in advance and remaining after we are satisfied with the service of the chimney or 6 months at maximum.
As soon as we paid the shopkeeper, his behavior changed and he started talking to us rudely. Please note that we had not been given the warranty papers of the chimney. He promised to deliver the chimney to my home and fix it in the kitchen. However, we were compelled to carry the chimney with us and it was lying for a week unused. After repeated visits and phone calls, the shopkeeper finally send a person to fit the chimney and we were happy.
Finally the chimney stopped working after two months of purchase. We repeatedly called the shop and visited them, but in vain. The shopkeeper was avoiding us and didn't answer our calls. This continued for many months and when we asked our money back and take back the chimney, he listened.
He took the chimney back on june and ever since then there is no sign of him returning the money. We didn't have the warranty papers not did we have any other document so that we can claim. We just have the receipt number which i have shared below. Please note that the behavior of the shopkeeper is really bad and we never had smooth talk with him. If any ladies call to that number to talk properly, he starts shouting, while if i call, he simply starts with abusive words. Whenever we talk to the distributor regarding this, we are simply laid off and told that the money will be returned next week and the week never comes.
We are really frustrated with this and hope we can get some help.
