Admission fees not refunded

Sir

I had given an entrance test last year and cleared it. After the results were declared, i was asked to submit an amount of Rs 25000/- which was to be submitted within two days and was non refundable. At that point in time i submitted the amount but later on due to personal reasons i couldn't take admission. I communicated my decision to the college authorities well in advance so that their seat doesn't remain vacant. Since then, i have been sending them mails on a monthly basis but to no avail.

Finally i have decided to file a case in the consumer court.
