Sir/ Madam, this is my concern and let me know the solution for the same. Please guide me.
During the month of September I participated in All India Designing Competition (graphic and web category) thru Arena Multimedia, Kolkata. Since then I stood first in semifinals and finals of the same.
I was sent to Jaipur for the celeberation of the event, since the event was delayed, the committee told that all the expenses (hotel accomodation, flight charges) will be reimbursed after few days. They even assured for giving placement assistance at Jaipur.
I stayed there for 40 days waiting for their updations and reimbursements. But, they kept on postponing and kept their problems in front of us. Since the stay was unaffordable for me, with great difficulty I started back to hyderabad which is my hometown. None of them neither visited or met me till now.
Since September, the committee people are just sending mails now and then, and since one month no one are replying either to mails also. During month of December, they gave me cheques, but that too bounced. I am supposed to get around Rs.75000 (apporx).
After few days I came to know that some of the corrupt officers were responsible for the same and there was interferance of media and highcourt. The officers were behind bars.
Since I maintained personal relationship with everyone, I don't wanted to take serious steps/actions against them.
But now it is high time. I am neither given job assistance, nor amounts. Starved and suffered a lot during my stay at jaipur also.
None of the officers are replying to my mails since 4-5 months and CEO is sending mails once in a month. They are just keeping silence. I enquired at Arena also, but they refused to give the contact number of the concerned officer. Neither there is any particular office address.
Everyone have changed their contact numbers and none are responding to mails. I dont even know the official address of the said committee. I just know that it is linked to the ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS, Kolkata.
Recently I recieved mail from CEO saying that they have not vanished and the amounts will be reimbursed within this April 25th. But this type of assurances and promises are repeated periodically. Without any positive results. Since then, again no mails., no calls, no amounts, no deposits.
There is lot of financial burden on me due to this committee. I was labelled as lier and fraud at my residence also.
I dont know whom to approach for the justice and information.
Should I wait till this week end?
Will my amounts be reimbursed?
Are they not wrong by not intimating the situations?
Are they not responsible for regular false assurances and issuing wrong cheques?
Should I keep quit and maintain the personal relationship so that they can atleast reimburse in future?
What will be the cost to get the justice?
Itseems that there were 100 students who are supposed to get the reimbursements, but i dont know what is the status of those people.
