I got admmited my daughter in Apeejay Institute of Management, Rama Mandi Hoshiarpur Road, Jalandhar (Phome 0181-2410263, 2410264) on 28th Aug and paid the full fee Rs 18500 for first Samester. At the time of admission it was informed that there is no problem of transportation for the studeht from far off places. I belong to Hoshiarpur and that is about 35 K.M. from the institue. After that it was pbserved that there is no institute transport or other transport available for the institute from Hoshiarpur and it is not possible to attend the institute for the girl child. We highlighted our problen to the director of the institue and he agreed to our problem and allowed us to leave the institute but he refused to pay back any amount to us. We requested him in writing twice for the same but he refused. Now on 6th Sept we again wrote a letter and send through registered post to the director for refund of the fee but there is no response till date. My daughter left the institute on 3rd Sept only after 5 days.
We therefore request you to registered our complaint against the institute for necessary refund of the fee. On 30th June there was article in newpapaer in which it was cleared that institute cannot refuse to refund the fee if student want to leave the institue.
