While buying a high end mobile handset, I had no second thoughts but just chose to buying Blackberry.
But now, I repent! I happen to be a sad owner of Blackberry Bold 9700 Mobile. I had bought the warranty handset from a Croma, south ex part 2, New Delhi (PIN :25ED2196, IMEI: 354256047019997) on 03 February paying a total of 22890 Rupees but to my surprise within the first 6 months the handset has gone for repair thrice at Redington, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi that too for the same problem of display.
After submitting the phone for the third time for repair I got a new handset on 24th aug (PIN: 21E74634, IMEI :359564031799820). The job order no is DEL/BB/09893. This time they had given me an assurance that it will not give any more trouble as they have changed the handset. But to my utter surprise today, 28 sep 2011 that’s just one month since I have got a new handset the display again went off. I again visited the Redington Center in Lajpat Nagar and got to know that it’s the same problem again and I will have to give it for repair.
I fail to understand that how can a new handset within a month turn out to be faulty. After all the mental harassment that I have gone through in the first 6 months of getting the phone repaired thrice and getting a new handset I thought the issues will cease. But now its the fourth time and the same issue has happened with a new handset. I would also like to bring to your notice that the services of the Redington Center at Lajpat Nagar are pathetic as one has to wait for an hour everytime you visit this center. Its highly mismanaged.
Owning a blackberry has turned out to be the worst experience ever.
I want the money I have spent on the phone to be refunded asap!!!
