Dear sir/madam
I am a very loyal & regular customer of Blackberry mobile phones. Earlier i used to be buying Nokia but as of today i along with all my family members buy only Blackberry.
On 5th November i bought a Blackberry 'Curve 8520' but due to my bad luck someone stole the handset. So i immediately went to the market and bought absolutely the same handset as i was very much satisfied with the features.
However, in couple of days of buying the phone I observed that some kind of error had shown in the screen when i made a call .i took the phone to the Croma at Connaught Place near Odeon Cinema Delhi Branch and I was told that my phone needs to be send to the service centre. As i am working at Connaught Place Delhi. So it’s very easy to track the status of my phone because i bought this from Croma Connaught Place only. So after four days I went to the centre and they said the problem is solved now so I took back my phone from Croma. But in the next few weeks I realized that the center button or the Track Pad on the handset had also stopped functioning. Then later on the phone got total Hunged up & it Switched off by it self and unfortunately my phone got totally dead. I again contacted the Croma Connaught Place, then I was told again the same thing that my phone will be sent back to the Service centre to recheck the problem why it happend again. I simply denied for rechecking my phone and asked for Cash refund or replace it with a brand new set because I faced the same problem twice within two months of the purchase. They assured me it will not happened again after rechecking the phone, but I am not sure about this commitment. At present my mobile is in the Croma Store Connaught Place Delhi Branch which is repaired again and according to the Croma Customer Care I will not face this problem again but I want a replacement of my phone with the new same Blackberry model as right now the fault happened twice & the purchase period is within the warranty period as per the company policy of Blackberry. It’s been 15 days till date, in between I contacted Blackberry (Area Business Manager) He also assured me that my phone will be replaced soon because I faced the same problem twice. After contacting him by making many calls he replied the same and asked to grant him some more time.
i was totally surprised on the defect of the phone as i completely trusted Blackberry!
My miseries just don’t end here on submitting the phone in the service centre; the staff told me that I will also loose all my saved data. In which I had all my business and other important contacts. This a disgusting I am going to go through so much of hassles in not only collecting the contacts again but also presume to loose on a lot of my important data.
i am therefore, through this mail requesting you to not only replace and give me a new handset but also compensate me for all the nuisance i will have to face in the future by providing me an upgraded version of Blackberry or providing me with an upgraded model from the one i already I had.
i am genuinely hoping for a prompt and satisfactory response from your end.
