Within a year display faded/fainted

Please find attached my complaint to Redington India Ltd. who manages the Blackberry sales and support in India.

Dear Black Berry Support,

Ref: Work order # TEC/BB/10/00355; Case ID # BB0063551

This refers to the above and I have the following:

1. I bought a high end Blackberry bold 9700, thinking that all my cell phone related worries are over.

2. I realized that I was very wrong. While I was mailing I realized that my screen went faint/faded and when contacted Airtel’s blackberry support they advised to contact your help-line.

3. Eventually, I landed at approaching your service centre at Thane.

4. After reaching the location, it took me half-an-hour to locate the shop no. F-11. There were no proper sign boards and at the shop Sony’s ad was very prominent.

5. After inspecting, Ccom Telecommunications advised me that I need to submit the hand set and they would let me know only by next day if I can get it next day or after 15 days.

6. While taking the hand set they removed the back-cover; the micro SD card; SIM card and the battery and returned all that to me. Unfortunately, I was not carrying any bag with me and while carrying back my SD card misplaced or fallen somewhere.

7. Is this the way Blackberry treat their customers? After buying a high-end phone I was simply treated like dirt. One expects to at least hand over all accessories in a proper bag. Who will compensate me for my 2GB micro SD card?

8. Next day I was informed that it will take 10-15 days for repairs. There was no mention for a standby phone.

9. Now I buy a high-end phone investing huge amounts and it turns out to be defective. Simply using it for email the defect comes up (fortunate for me-within warranty period), I hand over the phone to you no stand by phone offered. I’m paying for my services to my service provider. In addition, I suffer efficiency issues at my work and other related losses.

Considering all above harassment and discomfort I request you to consider one of the following requests:

1. Replace me with a new phone latest model or with the same one, but with a improved version, with fresh warranty and at no extra cost.

2. Take back the phone and pay me the entire money as per the invoice.
