This is to inform you that I have purchased a Blackberry Torch (9800), IMEI No : 355466044833998, BB Pin : 2692DA5E on 23rd April' 2011 from The Mobile Store Shop No 21, Plot No 39/5, Bsel Tech Park, Opp Railway Station, Sector 30a, Vashi, Navi Mumbai - 400703.
On 3rd June' my phone stopped working and the very same day I approached to the service centre of Blackberry i.e. VARAD ELECTRONICS, Vashi.
The asked me to come on Monday i.e. 6th June' with the photo copy of the bill. On 6th June' I have given my phone top the above mentioned service centre vide JOB NO : 103.
Then I contacted the Blackberry Redington India Toll free 18004253720 and asked them to provide me the contact details for the blackberry officials in Mumbai. Then Rahamath from the call centre provided me the number for Blackberry Mumbai Manager Mr. Sanket. I have called him a lot of times but he didn't respond to the calls. Then at last I dropped him a message on 10th June' 2011 at 11:29am.
After sending this message all of a sudden he replied by message. Then I called him back and he answered and stated that he is not the concerned person and asked me to take Mr. Chetanya's number from the Toll free.
Then again I called up toll free on 10th June' 2011 requesting them to give me the number of Mr. Chetanya. Then they have provided me the number for Mr. Chetanya and also told me that he is the Blackberry Regional Head Mumbai.
As on time I called him so many times but he also didn't respond to any calls. Then again I dropped him a message on 10th June' 2011 at 5:05pm.
But he didn't respond till to my calls and messages.
Then again on 11th June' 2011 i.e. Friday, I called the Blackberry Support Toll free and complained them regarding the whole issue. Then they have provided the above email id's and requested me to state the whole issue to them.
On 11th June i.e. Saturday the service center people called me and sent me a mail at 3:39 pm regarding the phone status and attached a picture stating Un-repairable smartphone. At the same time they called me and told me they have send me an email. I replied them and also asked what is the reason of the handset getting burnt in such a way. They answered me back that water or sweat must have gone in the phone, then I told them that you can see the water testing spot its not showing the color change (Which you have shown at the time of taking the phone). Then they didn't have any justified answer to my question. So I requested them to give me the Blackberry head number and also make a call to them. Then they called their Manager (VARAD ELECTRONICS, VASHI) Mr. Zope and he is saying that we can't help on this issue, pay Rs 199 and take your phone back. After that I also told him that this is not the way to reply to customer and this is not what is called customer satisfaction and also I am not taking my phone back.
Then I contacted Mr. Sanket and I explained the whole issue and he asked me to send the mail to him again.
And he told that he is not the person in charge for vashi but he will take some positive action on this. I have already forwarded the mail to him and I am waiting for a reply.
My charger is working fine and my mobile is burnt as per the information of service center.
