I had bought Carrier AC from AC World, A-2, Sector 58, Noida on 11th May. It has a one year warranty and one year extended warranty.
Within a week of installing the AC, it started giving weird smell (possible gas leakage). On calling the customer service repeatedly, they came once and said that the outlet was choked which they were opening. The Service provided was dissatisfactory and could not rectify the problem properly.
After a few days of the Service visit, the AC cooling reduced drastically. It did not cool even a small room. We lodged a complaint again with Carrier Call Centre. This was done on July 21 and the complaint reference number was GH0532. However, Carrier did not send anyone to fix it. We called many times for this and raised another complaint for this on August 19. Its number was GHZ0423. Carrier has still not sent any one to fix this.
This has been one of the worst experiences we have had with any electronic buy. Request an immediate action on this issue by the Consumer Forum.
